Compress image to 20 KB
How it works
Drop a photo and get a version under 20 KB in seconds. The tool tries many quality levels and picks the highest one that still fits. If quality alone is not enough, it shrinks the pixel size a little and tries again.
20 KB is a common limit for government and exam portals and older form uploaders. Expect a small but clear image, which is fine for a signature scan or a tiny ID photo.
- Drop one or more images into the box above, or tap to choose them.
- The tool finds the best quality that fits under 20 KB. It only shrinks the dimensions if it must.
- Check the result, then download each file.
Your files stay on your device
Everything runs inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. You can even switch to airplane mode after the page has loaded and the tool will keep working.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my image still a little over 20 KB?
Very large or very detailed photos sometimes cannot reach the limit without looking poor. Use the result as is, or resize the image first, then compress it again.
Which format should I choose?
JPEG works everywhere. WebP is usually 25 percent smaller at the same quality, but a few old forms reject it.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
